A few weeks back, videos started getting deleted from a few of my favorite channels for having a decent amount of profanity in them. Sometime today I'm assuming, Youtube decided to change any curse words present on the comments underneath a video to a bunch of unnecessary asterisks. I feel like I'm on a disney forum or some shit. In case you have yet to see this for yourself, here's an example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4N78JfTy-OU

Now, thankfully, you can change this by clicking the "options" link next to the comments header and un-checking hide profanity in comments. Why youtube would think that its users would want profanity hidden in the first place is beyond me.
