R-TSlint is good, I've heard some Trans Am and liked what I heard. Never heard any of the other bands.

U-ZThe only Xiu-xiu song I know is the one about cumming on some guys lips. I've heard other songs of his but never payed them much attention. I think I gave Zelienople a listen because they are named after my town, but I thought they were bland. Windsor for the Derby is an OK Joy Division/Interpolish band. They had one song that I played as a bin cut on my radio show last year quite a bit.

Never listened to any of the other ones AFAIK.

I did listen to a lot of stuff when I DJ'd (we had to review albums each semester) but I can't remember all the band names, most of the shit that came into the radio station was utter crap. Leading me to believe that indie rock labels with a few exceptions, are just as shitty as major labels. You should read the press papers they send these CDs with.

The coolest stuff we got was experimental stuff. I really dug that. We would ocassionally get box sets, I remember we got a Fall box set.

Most of the stuff I played on my show was on vinyl though, there was rarely stuff in the bin that I really liked.
