I agree with this (somewhat); however, 10 years ago you would have first heard the new sonic youth album in yr car, on the way home from buying it.....(wait for it)....the day it was released. not two months prior, and certainly not without driving to the store.

I'd say Matador is doing a fairly good job at "adapting". the money that you paid was for the CD. everything else is gravy.
