I was replying to demonrail Lurker.
I like the idea of combining the two ideas.
I just fleshed out a fully developed character for the rapist and pretty much the whole plot of the story, which would have to take place over a number of years.
I'm thinking the rapist could be the main character and the cryo labs worker could be sort of an unseen foil with similar goals like Clare Quilty in Lolita.
I'm also thinking that it could be something that could unfold into something huge. The character's fears that his seed may be aborted could lead to violence on a massive scale. He could distribute pro-life literature that advocates violence against abortionists that could lead to riots and civil war.
