Seeing as GW Bush has made a complete hash of things re the US economy, it'll be interesting to see over the coming months how Barack O can turn things around. As for the UK, words fail me - we have a Thunderbird puppet for a Chancellor, and a short-tempered spazznozzle for a Prime Minister. No wonder we're in so much economical shit here at the moment.
Also, you would've thought that this all shows just how fragile and liable to collapse the whole "free market" concept is.....ha ha, free market, what a bad joke, "free" as long as you're not a developing country, because if you are, then you're fucked forever by good old first world protectionism.
