Sonic Youth do need to do something interesting album-wise if they're to make up for the water-treading of their last two. Seriously though, I don't think it's really in them to progress as a unit anymore. They've earned the right to be boring I suppose. Whether they've earned the right for people to carry on supporting them in their tedium is, of course, quite another matter.

That's why I think a re-mix would be good stuff. Although I hear a new record is coming out soon. I hope they found some new pedals to work with.I use all their old videos on you tube to torture my co-workers at lunch. Good antagonism is where you find it.
