Go for it. Acid kicks ass. I prefer mushrooms or dextromethorphen... acid is kind of a party, good time drug, mushrooms has a lot of fun emotional stuff attached to it, but I love dex the best.. just completely disassociated from reality.
No matter how you go, play some stars of the lid during the trip.
