If - IF IF IF - he did nothing sexual with her while she was still young (and I mean too young to think for herself, I don't believe in the idea of 17/18 being the exact point where you are able to make grown up decisions) then I see nothing wrong there. Is it creepy? Sure is. But is it WRONG? I don't think so.
And like you said, if she was the one going after him, then you can hardly say that he took advantage of her.
Still creepy though, I don't care.
