Business is really dead today after picking up earlier in the week. My business has been worse than usual since July 4th.
(which really fucks with the shell game)
It comes in waves. Most days the phone rings at least twice an hour if not non-stop. Today I've only gotten like three phone calls & two orders online.

pl. me·nin·go·coc·ci (a bacterium)

I could have sworn this was pronounced cocci (coss-eye) not (cock-eye)...so I checked & the judge did say it right.

just a minute ago the judges had to review audio tape because they didn't hear the word the speller spelled...crazy, I & the announcers heard it just fine.

This guy just got eliminated tryng to spell "ouvert" which is a ballet move.
He tried to spell it "houver", which was pretty funny.
They give you some time to play along at home before the spelling is displayed on the screen.

I just got a phone call & an order.

Coverage is over now & they are in round 7 heading into the prime time broadcast...I didn't get a chance to see how many spellers are left. I think around twenty.
