If we're talking Riley then his 1971 album with John Cale, "Church Of Anthrax", is absolutely incredible. I mean really, like one of my favourites. It runs the gamut from cyclical organ and piano jams to beautiful floating multi-tracked soprano sax improvisations and a lot in between, but it’s actually all surprisingly accessible.
