do you have to be à la mode? use an older version.

there's a couple of good gpl software, most notably mozilla's songbird, the "firefox of media players", wich will eventually be very big.
it's still a very early version so it lacks some features and improvements like last.fm support, perfect ipod support and crap like that, but that should be solved with next version that just went out for rc a couple of days ago.

personally i don't use it yet, but i highly recommend it.
