I've learned how to make rather pretty bracelets from a bead and two bits of lace or string or whatever.
Other than that phenomenally useful skill, nothing has really changed. I've sold some photographs for the first time, I've been elected onto the PCC at our church, we had a weekend away, I've bought lots of nice old books. Life a susual, really.
