I can go to the local courts and have a very enjoyable and polite pick-up game nearly anytime. Some very amiable people play tennis.
Or I can build my resentment until I must beat some insufferable prick at his own game. Nothing like venting on a total asshole.
Pool and Mario-cart are in similar this way.
