I'm not saying they were the best band, but I'm convinced they had the best name. I just love saying it. It just sounds hard. You could never scare a mugger by saying, 'back off sonny, I'm into The Pastels', but if you said you were into Faust instead, they'd shit themselves, without question. They even wrote songs about skinheads. Faust are like the musical equivelent of mace.
