i know im going to get shit for this, but i think judd apatow's crew's comedies are fucking amazing.

freaks and geeks and undeclared were two of the funniest sitcoms ever, and testament to the average american's stupidity considering how fast they got canned, when a show like friends can run for what, 11 years?

then we got the 40 year old virgin, knocked up, and superbad, all of which had me in tears laughing. i just saw forgetting sarah marshall, almost equally hilarious. even dewey cox, which a lotta people hated, i thought was fucking hilarious (especially the brian wilson acid/pcp sequences when hes trying to create his "masterpiece" ala "smile"). i think theres few things in this world better than a good laugh, when your just uncontrollalby laughing and you got tears and all that, its a great feeling. and these movies are probably the only mainstream movies in the past 3 years which have done that to me.
