Any army or political activity worth something chooses what to wear and how to wear it carefully. If you look at any state funeral from any country, you'll see that there is perfect co-ordination in how people walk, talk and dress.
This is because any dominant power of whatever political inclination wants to be taken seriously, and that is done by looking like you want to be taken seriously.
Communists are the same as the nazi, the more hardcore don't go for dishevelled looks but for a simple suit and tie, which you wear with a pristine-looking shirt and was the uniform of the working classes ever since the start of last century. If anyone thinks that you can seriosuly dress like a rockstar and be taken seriosuly in the world of politics they are fooling themselves. Big time.
