Very.

What's even more random in the venue choice. The venue is the Tennessee Theatre (same venue that SY played here in 2000). This admission is always $45+. This place gets artists like Jackson Browne, George Jones, BB King, Etta James, and the Ron White Comedy tour (read: lame Blue Collar Comedy guy). Most venues here charge around $15-$30 for big label major acts (ie N*E*R*D, Built To Spill, Dinosaur Jr, Son Volt. Just to name some recent ones) Even stranger is that Melt Banana have played this city twice before in a club/bar the size of a matchbox with the average admission price being $5.

Lou Reed's lastest album is some ambient shit. I'd be more than willingly to pay the price if he'd play Metal Machine Music just to keep up with Melt Banana.

Lou Reed & Melt Banana here?
