The first forum I got interested in was created by real-life-friends of mine, living 400 kms from my place. We're only 6, and it helps keeping us together.
Here, as there are tons of humans, is a bit different.
I entered the gossip page reluctantly, a couple of years after knowing the site, as I don't dig the word gossip.
I may read 5 to 6 threads a day.
I expect to learn a few more words (nobble being one of them, not on the forum itself but on an offspring), practice my English and pat Glice on the head when he kisses my feet.
I didn't expect to find any SY live shows - but found the way that lead to them, thanks to Moshe and atari.
I didn't expect to eventually meet boardies - but met some cool globe-trotters.
I probably had some expectations on the rare threads I started, but I've lost them. True. RIP. And I have people on the ignore list, not to get overwhelmed by the silly bits that pops up in their prose.
I didn't expect this thread but found the first entry pretty cool.
