cigarrettes and alcohol are more dangerous than heroin imo, because they are easier accessible and widely accepted in society, meaning more people will suffer from them. including myself.
i'd guess that somewhere between a third and half the population (in some age groups) will start smoking at some point in their lives, just from friends or going out, etc whereas heroin is not easy to buy/use without knowing the right people.
besides, you can be pretty sure that practically everyone who's ever used heroin has used other drugs before that on a frequent basis.
