Rudd has done some good things, you can only take small steps when you are a leader of a country, you can not be altruistic and you cannot fix everything in the space of a few short years in power, let alone weeks. Also Labour donot receive full control of the senate for a few months yet, so they can only move so fast on a few things. The guy has already done more in a few weeks than Howard did in 11 and a bit years on the environment side of things, making the first step and signing australia up to the kyoto protocol, which is an initial step to a greater australian and world environmental policy....

just remember clydesdales are a much bigger horse if you need to get a bit higher.
