uh, yeah, I'm agnostic, so I can safely say: there's nothing wrong with the Bible. it's just a book that people worshipped in a society we know nothing about. It's like people in 500 years getting some kind of spiritual message from a fucking t-shirt I wore today. It's a book meant for a civilization and it probably doesn't have much of a place today...

..except of course, it does teach important and valuable lessons. If you take it seriously, it teaches basic human concepts of right and wrong. It goes a bit beyond that, of course, but I think some people need the Bible, some people need religion -- and the Bible isn't a bad book or a bad read by any means (I've read it twice all the way through).

Remember that the Bible isn't repulsive, people are repulsive, and people can make the Bible repulsive. Poisoning the water and all that shit.
