Sometime it's really hard to get into the mind set - and I know with myself I normally end up (or used to, for now) stay up the night before a deadline to complete things. If you can afford for it I think trying to get into that mind set really helps - like not trying to force anything if you can - like put on some really loud music or read a book and just relax and get into a kind of inspired mood - the the work will hopefully come easier. It doesnt always help, but it's a suggestion.
