This is one of the funniest threads I've ever read. I'm surprised at how many people have never even *heard of* The Fall let alone heard them. I love Sonic Youth, but The Fall are, quite frankly, one of the greatest punk/post-punk bands in existence. Recent albums like Country on the Click and Fall Heads Roll are amazing. Post Reformation TLC isn't their best...but it's better than Rather Ripped. The fact that SY covered three of their songs should tell you something. There's quite a lot of info out there on them.
