The imported cabbageworm (ICW), Artogeia rapae[=Pieris rapae (L.)] is commonly known as the cabbage butterfly. This butterfly was imported from Europe to Canada in the mid-1800s and has since spread to all parts of the continent
Yup, there it is. They're common here too, even in the city where not much cabbage is to be found! They were fun to watch in cabbage fields, where you could follow them as they laid eggs, hopping from plant to plant
