And this is the reason to stay away from them? Just because they are popular with another group? I hate this reasoning. Don't get me wrong, I'll stay away from them; I don't like their sound, and the girl annoys me (although the latter isn't even a reason for not liking the group; Kurt Cobain annoys me. But Nirvana was better than this audible garbage). But I'm not going to shun a band because "they're a hit in the preppy cheerleader/jock/airhead community."
Judge music on the music, and nothing else.
