I don't think I'm that bad but I notice looking back through this thread I post quite a lot. My friend thinks I am fairly bad but he is way, way worse...he's got over 1000 records which is probably 5 times as many as I have at least. I don't know how people who buy more records than I do (and I know a few) give things a chance.

I probably don't give some things a major chance but I also don't have any records that remain unlistened to. I know some people will buy stuff and it stays in the shrinkwrap for ages. I try my best to give things a good listen but sometimes the time isn't right to full absorb something and you can come back to it later (ie when you're broke). I had Royal Trux's self titled on cd for a few years before I really realised it was great. To my 18 year old ears it was vaguely coherent nonsense. When I revisited it a few years later it was like hearing a completely different record.
