Hello everyone. How lovely to be here again.
The wonderful cabinet of curiosities that is the Pitt Rivers Museum in Oxford is the subject of a debate as to whether its collection of human remains should be repatriated. There are currently 10 shrunken heads on display that may be sent back to the Upper Amazon, depending on the outcome of this ethical debate.
A local artist, Ted Dewan, has kindly offered his own head to be shrunk and exhibited after his death, as a show of support for the museum and its "awe-inspiring" collection.
