i have had, on and off, several. invariably it turns sentimental & things get destroyed. one of them actually became stalkerish in her insistence that i become her boyfriend, and when i refused she made a stink for me at work-- i've written about it in other threads so i won't elaborate. after that episode, i refused further offers of noncommittal sex. however, another one, from earlier times-- we're actually friends until today, but sex is out of the question these days (it did get a little messy, but not bloody at all).
