I totally understand your point, but if this is what
you want and search for in a movie it's clear from the start that you won't enjoy Lynch's movies. But you have to admit that other people can fully enjoy "pointless" movies that put them in a strange state of mind/puzzle them like lynch movies do. It's a little semplicistic (?), I know, but I find it really hard to express in english what my mind is thinking in italian
edit: and it's better not to turn this thread into a discussion on Lynch...
