Okay, whatever, craziness. Forget it. It shouldn't take this long.
I'm into the Burnside now anyway.
I started to drift away a bit during track 5, "shake 'Em on Down" and went looking for my sole Lightnin' Hopkins bootleg to share back (Hey, listen to this! haha) and all I found was Lightning Bolt bootlegs and releases. I am a bit troubled that I can find it nowhere.
The problem withthe Lightnin' Hopkins (4/10/81 Tramp's NYC) before was I ashamedly didn't know all of the track names because the setlist wasn't posted with it. (I used to have a cassette of a good (not great) live one too) Now, I can't find the recording at all. It's truly great. I have so many discs and it's one of my absolute favorites to play. This Burnside has some flashes of brilliance, especially in the some of the slide guitar playing, but the drummer's fills are bugging me a bit. Good listen, even though his "Well, well, well, thank ya'll, thank ya'll"s after every single song is starting to freak with me a little.
