Erm, I'm back. Rochester was great. Eastman was sweet. I met a bunch of music theorists. I had three interviews: one in analysis, one in skills, and one in research. I nearly froze to death. Didn't have a chance to do anything unscheduled besides driving up to take a look at the lake. This is Eastman Theatre:
The bathrooms are spacious and clean.
Also, the library is the largest academic music library in the US. It is ridiculous. I looked at a 1st edition of Bach's Die Kunst der Fuge, a manuscript of La Mer in Debussy's hand, a codex from the 12th century, and a bunch of other stuff like that. Good times.
