Surprise birthday bash tonight for a friend who's coming up on her big 4 0. Involves pints at the local brew pub, so it should be a good time. Beyond that, staying indoors and cozy, mostly. Will probably put Metal Box on the turntable, and I've also had a hankering for Sticky Fingers and Exile lately.
Watching the world series if it goes beyond tonight.

In the middle of Exile: A Season in Hell with the Rolling Stones by Robert Greenfield, and it's total sensationalistic trash.
Also reading Transparent Things by Vladimir Nabakov which is not.
