I liked Bill. He was also my advisor; I forgot to mention that.
I always got along great with him. Surprisingly, it was Jim Herbert that I ended up having an ambivalent relationship with because we started out as fast friends and then I found out what a dick he was. I suppose you have to be an asshole to win all the grants that he does every year.
