No shit...some sort of new species, perhaps.

This is a bizarre coincidence/synchronicity, but I saw the biggest spider I've ever seen just today after responding to this thread earlier.
I was out in the two car garage behind my house today that's used as a storage space for boxes for my business. I was out there digging through boxes looking for something & on the side of a box right by me was the largest arachnid I've ever seen in person outside of a pet store.
It wasn't as big as some tarantulas, but it was huuuuuuge...much larger than what I would consider a very large spider. Maybe it was a tarantula, because it was a bit hairy & fuzzy. I left it alone, figuring that it probably kills lots of bugs out there.
Also, on the way back from the garage, on the stone patio was half a mouse. There's this neighborhood wild cat that roams around my backyard & that of my adjacent neighbors. Only the back half of the mouse was on my patio. The weird thing is that earlier today the cat was in the backyard in this spot where it likes to nap & I was out there smoking a cigarette & as it stretched, I would mimic it. Maybe it left half the mouse for me haha. It usually never comes very close to the house & you can't get near that cat.
