Oh come on really! I can listen to a John Cage record and at the same time appreciate a MCR record. I Like to mix up what im listening to. I could be listening to Bartok one minute, Merzbow the next. Hence my ideal gig would be a mixture of all these things, free from elitist snobbory. There is a level of passion and energy in MCR's music which is impossible to resist. Sorry if it doesn't fit in with a lot of people's lexicon of 'cool' but then a lot of good music doesn't.
