Jesus wasn't exactly the most humble of cats.
Of course, his ending was humble...but everything leading up to the end was pretty damn opposite of humble.
And jesus was all about publicly defending himself and advertising his abilities.
I don't know who you are round aboutly trying to teach a lesson, but I think you have misinterpreted his story.
