You honestly think he believes that? He knows how to appeal to the lowest common denominator and he knows it works. Think about before he even said he was running for president. He started spouting about Obama's birth certificate bollocks and he saw it was getting enough of a reception. That was him testing the waters to see if he had a chance to win an election. Ever since then he's pulled comments like the wind turbine stuff cos he knows that his core voters will go with it.
