i thought the 2nd one was the real kick in the huevos

they did keep trying, just lacked options & resources. very shallow bench on the attacking side.

consider for example that stuani wasn’t a young up-and-coming forward getting a chance to shine for the first time—he’s 31 already.

very hard to make it work that way.
