What I'm wondering about, if driverless cars become a reality, will that mean that rent will go up even more? One the one hand, driving becomes less stressful, which is great and allows you to move further outside into a cheaper area. On the other hand, the money people now spend on cars will be spend elsewhere (minus the costs for selfdriving rides) and I wouldn't be surprised if much of it will heat up the property market.
