Ok so I read Batman #21 (the Button part 1) and... uhh...
I think it just became clear to me just how much comics have shrunk over the years. It's half ad space, and literally less than two minutes of story (comic book time) that's I read in less than five minutes, real time.
Here... the button, part 1... the comic I've been waiting a year for:
*zap*
"Barry!"
"Be right there Bruce"
*fwoosh*
"Flash?"
"The reverse actually."
*punch*
*punch*
*punch*
*stab*
*punch*
*throw*
*punch*
*punch*
"Hmm, mysteries..."
*zap out*
*fwoosh in*
"I'm too late"
END.
What the actual fuck?
I repeat: WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?
This cost me $3.99 and a year of anticipation. Comics are no longer worth buying on a single-issue basis. I think I'm just gonna be a TPB guy from now on.
