REALITY CHECK

All Cleveland has to do now is win 4 of the next 5 against a team that's 86-15. There is one other option......win Game 7 in Oakland.

Teams that won Game 1 by 15 or more Points in NBA Finals History:
Won Series 11
Lost Series 2

LeBron James is now 1-6 in Game One of the NBA Finals and 0-5 on the road. However, James is 4-2 in NBA Finals Game 2's.

NBA Finals Mantra = it’s not a Series until you win a game on the opponent’s floor!

Rested, healthy and ready were the words being used to describe Cleveland before Game One.

The Cavs have now lost FOUR NBA Finals Games In A Row!!!!

First Half

LeBron James was 0-4 in the 2nd quarter, didn't take a shot the last 9 minutes while playing the entire quarter.

LeBron's average shot distance in the 1st quarter was 1.8 feet......rest of the Cavaliers averaged 13 feet.

LeBron was just one assists shy of a triple double.

Cavs dominated the First Half rebounding 26-13 and were 9-11 from the FreeThrow line.

Draymond +14
Klay +12
Iguodala +9

LeBron -13
Love -12

13 of the Warriors' first 16 points were scored by Andrew Bogut or Harrison Barnes.

Warriors scoring at the rim was so much easier than any game of the OKC series.

Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry combined for 10 points, their fewest in a 1st half this season (in games which both played)......and GSW were up 9

________________

Cavaliers outscored by six at the 3-point line, and 12 in the paint.

Warriors shot 55% on contested shots, 42% on uncontested shots.

Per EliasSports, Shaun Livingston's 20 points are the most by a GSW reserve in the Finals since Phil Smith's 20 on 5/18/75 (Game 1 vs. WAS)......it was just the 11th time in his NBA career that Shaun Livingston reached the 20-point mark.

Kerr on Andre Iguodala: "He’s a brilliant basketball player. He doesnt get enough credit…he always settles us down & knows exactly what’s happening"

Ervin Magic Johnson: "Cleveland's easy series against Detroit, Atlanta and Toronto did not prepare them to play Golden State." (don't you just love how Magic be trolling the East)

Ervin Magic Johnson: The NBA MVP Steph Curry scored 11pts and Klay Thompson only scored 9pts and the Warriors still won. (and you thought I was kidding about Magic trolling the East)

Never mind the Death Squad, Game One was about the 'Big Bench'

Last night, LeBron James passed Robert Horry for most career NBA Finals 3's in NBA history......it took LeBron 34 games to make 57 3's.

By comparison, the Unanimous MVP now has 28 3's in just SEVEN GAMES!!!!!!
