my problem with casino is that it's too similar. but under this "soul" subject i might see it again-- it's been a while since i've last seen goodfellas anyway (maybe a couple of years?). so it should work.

i like particularly how it lists all the work that followed in goodfellas' footsteps. besides the obvious stylistical template, more having to do with moral ambiguity becoming permissible in big productions. in that he's altered us all forever.
