You know what the presdident and CEO of Sam Adams brewing company says he does, so he does not get drunk or have hangovers the next day? He stirs up a packet of baker's yeast with a 1/4 cup of water, and drinks that before drinking alcohol.
He has to sample beers all day and go to beer tasting events where everyone wants to buy him a pint and he cannot afford to actually get drunk, so he drinks the yeast.
He states that this was taught to him by a scientists. The yeast will immediately go about processing the alcohol and sugars in whatever you drink and will therefore cause less of it to go into your bloodstream.
I am allergic to alcohol so I cannot give this a proper try, but if anyone from the SY Gossip forum does, please let me know the outcome!
