I can beat that!
I had a dream the other night that when they came around for a gig, Lee got the flu. So they asked me to play guitar for him. We were at a gig with the Flaming Lips and it was a huge stage. Both bands set up at once and they would take turns every other song. The crowd was also in these huge balconies behind the stage. We played facing this huge motherfucking screen that had a video of us playing.
There was a catch though, I ended up coming late and the sound dudes had trouble setting my gear up. Thurtson also forgot to tell me how to play the songs so I just kind of fucked around. We played Sleepin' Around and Thurston was just singing and I was all alone playing guitar. Since I had no idea what to play, Kim gave me a dirty look and seemed pissed off. I have no idea where Steve was. I woke up mid-song.
