It's a great concept the one of art getting out of galleries and standing next to you while you're engaging into human activity. I am totally for it. It only becomes complicated with works that thrive on a particular enviroment and aren't so malleable as sound, for instance.

perhaps im overly concerned with provocation, and the effect a provocative piece of art can have on its surroundings. I do feel that the sheer presence of other upright mammals can spoil the mood of certain things - if you were listening to a particular piece of music and then someone else wandered in, it would be like hearing someone's random voice whilst you were having a wank; it just ruins the mood
