Everything is rated based on "for what it is" standards. So, the SY EP, though not really a better album than, say, Eternal, gets a higher score because of its consistency. No bad songs.

Really, there are times when I think they're each perfect in their own way, like Beatles albums. How do you compare HELP! to the White Album? They're both 10's in completely different ways.

SY has, in my opinion, the best track record in rock history.
