The tradition of Bulgaria in making wines dates from the Roman ages.
Thousands of years ago ancient Thracians inhabited the territory of today's Bulgaria, creating their own culture, architecture, sculptures and paintings in aristocratic style. Thracia was a land of muses, singers and musicians, the land of mythical Orpheus. The cult towards the ancient Greek god of the wine -Dionysus- came from the Thracians.
The wine was always part of religious rituals. It is the drink of the kings and gods.
The ancient mysteries and rituals have turned nowadays into a stylish tradition the wine to be present at the dinner table all over the world for special events. It became a symbol of aristocracy, status, celebrity and long traditions.
