Well I think the thing is, the drums across the whole album do disappoint me in some regard, but only because I can't help but think to EVOL where they're absolutely flawless to me. Even though I enjoy how Catholic Block or Stereo Sanctity sound, I can't help but think 'now if we could just get the drums from EVOL, that'd be incredible.' Or shit even the drums from Macbeth, that song has the perfect sound.

I'm not even a big production stickler, it's just Schizophrenia for some reason gets to me.

I don't mean to put words into Steve's mouth, but I believe I read somewhere that even he doesn't care much for the drums on Sister, like he wished he had been more vocal during post or something. Could be talking out of my ass, but it sounds familiar.

No discredit to the album though, the playing is absolutely tops, I love all the parts. And actually I'll amend my statement a bit, I was just listening to Pipeline/Killtime and I'd forgotten about that little jagged five second breakdown he does, I absolutely love the way that sounds.
