Black Narcissus (9/10)
If you've not seen this before, please don't be put off by the less than inspiring poster. This is a masterpiece, creepier in its way than almost any horror film you're ever likely to see. And visually, there's not much in all of cinema that even comes close to it.
For a Few Dollars More (7/10)
Probably my favourite Leone western (which I'm generally not a huge fan of). This gets the top spot though, largelly for Gian Maria Volonte's El Indio character, for me the most genuinely sinister western movie villain ever (although
Jack Palance's character in Shane runs him pretty close).
