Thats because your line 6 is solid state (tube is always louder than solid state, or sounds louder), unless its some weird model that i havnt yet seen. I dont like like 6, but love Fender. I have two fender amps, both vintage and love them. Your deville is most likely an early 90s model. Fender just put out these tweed ones again last year, before they were just black and a few specials in for example, green. I played a gig with a deville a few months ago and was very nice. You should maybe think about replacing the tubes or rebiasing the amp before recording, it will do a great deal. Have fun with it and good luck recording.
